4/5's Begin Creating Protest Art
For the last 3 classes the 4/5's have been in the library researching! Yesterday was the first day back in the art room where they got to begin creating! For this project the 4/5's started by learning about different types of protest art. They watched a video about Hong Kong students who were protesting their government through art. The Guerrilla Girls, who protest for gender and race equality in the art world. Along with many other artists. Each student was then able to choose a topic that they were passionate about and whether they wanted to work with a partner. They filled out a research worksheet with facts and ideas. Yesterday was the planning and experimentation day where they determined what materials would work best for their projects. The 4/5's have been very involved and excited about this project so far and I can't wait to see how these projects come out!!
