2/3's Experiment with Materials!
The 2/3's recently started their next project! They are creating dioramas based on what they think the world would look like at the beginning of human existence, or at the end of human existence. To start we looked at two contemporary photographers, Nicholas Kahn and Richard Selesnick. These photographers work a lot with environments that have been traumatized, or civilizations that in crisis. The students then made sketches for ideas they had for their diorama. Today the 2/3's rotated through four stations experimenting with different materials they have available in the art
room! It was lots of fun and of course made a big mess!
