4/5's Have a Super Fun Day in Art Class!
4/5's just completed their first project of the year, their Identity project. They worked very hard on these projects for quite a long time. The next project that the students will be starting will be a rather serious unit that will most likely be a long term project as well. To break up the two units and let loose a little I inserted a short and very fun unit. On Thursday the 4/5's learned about gesture drawing! Students were broken into three groups and took turns standing on the table while their group members drew them as quickly as possible, focusing on the action of the pose more than the details. On Tuesday the students will continue this fun unit by learning about contour line drawings and blind contour line drawings!
