K/1 Still Life Practice

During a rainy day the K/1s are practicing drawing and painting flowers. They experimented with watercolor and tempera cake paint in preparation for our outdoor paintings! Last class we looked at paintings done by En Plein Air artists and began sketching flowers out in the garden. We learned about the difference between drawing and sketching. Next class we will begin our final drawings out in the garden!
